Do I still have to wash my retainer, or is this sufficient to keep it clean?

We still encourage basic rinsing to wash away plaque and tartar. Molarcase will follow up by removing all the unseen bacteria.

This item stopped working within 90 days - Can it be replaced?

If you encounter any issues with your Molarcase, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@molarcase.com with your order number. We offer a 6-month warranty and will be happy to replace it for you.

Is it safe to use Molarcase to clean a metal Hawley retainer?

Yes, Molarcase can be used for metal Hawley retainer.

Just double-check that your retainer doesn't exceed the size of the casing. You can check out the product sizing here.

Is it difficult to use Molarcase?

Molarcase is easy to use. Additionally, we include a user manual in the set, and you can also read our pictorial guide.

How do I know when it has finished charging?

You can easily tell when it has finished charging by checking the indication light beside the On/Off button.

How long can it last on a single full charge?

On a single full charge, it can last for approximately 120 minutes of usage, which is equivalent to 8 full-course deep cleansing cycles (15 minutes each) or 60 basic sanitizing cycles (2 minutes each).

Can the case be charged using a power bank?

Yes, the case can be charged using a power bank.

How many retainers can it accommodate?

Molarcase provides ample space for a set of retainers! It is designed to be deeper and wider, providing better storage for your dental appliances.

Will it automatically disinfect at the touch of a button?

Molarcase makes it easy to disinfect your dental appliances with a simple touch of the ON/Off button. By default, a 15-minute deep disinfection cycle will begin and end automatically. Alternatively, you can press the button again to stop the disinfection cycle at any time.

Is it safe to put Molarcase in water?

No, it is not safe to put Molarcase in water. The UV lamp beads, battery, and ventilation system are not waterproof and should be kept dry.

What happens if Molarcase gets wet?

The effect of water on Molarcase will depend on the type of exposure it receives.

The removable silicone tray is waterproof and will not be affected by water.

The exterior of the case can handle a few splashes of moisture, but if the electronic components get wet, it could cause damage.

It's important to remember to dry the silicone tray thoroughly before placing it back in the case to prevent any droplets from seeping into the battery.

Will there be any odor in Molarcase after using it?

No bad smell should linger around after using Molarcase because the vent holes and automatic ventilation system have got it all covered.

On Sterilizing

How often should I sterilize my Molarcase?

For best practice, we recommend sterilizing your Molarcase at least once a day and cleaning it twice a day.

How can I tell if the UV rays in Molarcase are working?

To check the efficiency of the UV rays in Molarcase, use the included UV-testing strip.

Simply place the strip in the case and turn on the sterilization process.

You will observe the magical changes in the card under the UV rays.

What Is UVC light?

UVC (ultraviolet C) light is a type of ultraviolet light that is often used for its germicidal properties to destroy or inactivate bacteria and viruses.

Is UVC light safe?

UV-C light can be harmful to the skin and eyes if exposed for a prolonged period of time.

That's why Molarcase is equipped with a safety mechanism that automatically turns off the UV-C light when the lid is open. This ensures that users are protected from any potential harm while using the product

Is the UV light fixed in the case?

Yes, the UV light is fixed in the case and cannot be removed or replaced.

UVC lamp beads are inbuilt on the inner lid of the casing to provide the necessary UV-C wavelength for effective sterilization.

Does it come with charging head?

Molarcase does not come with a charging head, but it comes with a USB-C charging cable that can be connected to any USB charger or computer USB port for charging.

Do I need to sterilize the front and back twice?

The enclosed casing uses ultraviolet light to refract and reflect at 360° angles, effectively sterilizing all surfaces of your oral pieces."

Do I have to keep the UV strip in the casing while sterilizing?

The UV-testing strip is just for the purposes of checking UV-efficiency. You don't have to keep it in the case.
